Community information service and mobile child activity service

(Funded by the Department of Community Services and Wollondilly Shire Council in partnership with St Anthony's Family Care)

What is the Dilly Wanderer?

The Dilly Wanderer is a FREE community information and development service and mobile child activity service operating year round for residents across the Wollondilly Shire.

We provide an environment for parents and caregivers with young children (0-12) to socialise and enjoy a range of activities together.

Families can gain access to information on:
• parenting skills;
• developmental stages of children;
• health issues; and
• community events and services.

Families can join us at any time, in any one of our locations across the Wollondilly Shire. (see Service Timetable for session times.)

The Dilly Wanderer is supported by a:
• Project Coordinator;
• Child Care workers; and
• Volunteers.

What can I Expect?

The Dilly Wanderer welcomes all who attend.  At all times children must be accompanied by an adult.  Parents and caregivers are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their own children.

We provide a range of age appropriate activities for children and encourage social interaction with all who attend.

• Come along to share and gain information about caring for and raising your children.
• Find out what community events are happening in your area.
• Gain access to information, products and services.

Other service providers are encouraged to support The Dilly Wanderer and may attend these sessions from time to time.
