Public Exhibition - Draft Design Specification and Draft Construction Specification

At the Council meeting held on 16 June 2008, Council resolved to publicly exhibit the Draft Design Specification and the Draft Construction Specification.

The specifications provide standards for all Civil Engineering works carried out by Developers, Consultants, Contractors and Council staff.

Both specifications are based on Aus–Spec standards which were produced some years ago to provide common standards throughout NSW.

The Draft Design Specification and the Draft Construction Specification will be on public exhibition for 28 days from Tuesday 1 July 2008 to Tuesday 29 July 2008 and can be viewed during the exhibition period at:-

 Council’s Administration Centre, 62–64 Menangle Street, Picton between the hours of 8am–4pm Monday to Friday.
 Wollondilly Library, 42 Menangle Street, Picton - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 10am–5pm and Thursdays between the hours of 10am–6pm and Saturdays between the hours of 9am-12 noon.
 Wollondilly Mobile Library.
 The Dilly Wanderer.

Written submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Wollondilly Shire Council, PO Box 21, Picton NSW 2571 and will be accepted until 4pm on Tuesday 22 July 2008.
