Profile - North Ward - Cr Judy Hannan

I aim to make Wollondilly distinctive from surrounding areas because of it's rural setting. Whilst still achieving improved infrastructure in our townships.

I want to do this without a particular bias towards any one town centre, but be able to assess what is the best for the whole Shire.

I will also work to increase the awareness of the needs of North Ward and to fight to get those needs met. I firmly oppose Council amalgamations.

I am looking forward to working as a part of an effective team to improve our community's satisfaction and to improve Council's level of community consultation.

I offer availability and commitment to locals to fight for a better deal for everyone, especially the "fringe dwellers" of this Shire. Improved infrastructure for the young, our families and the not-so-young, with careful preservation of our rural lifestyle is crucial in our outlying towns. A better deal in North Ward is my priority.

A self-employed Optometrist, I have lived in the Shire for 17 years. I live in Theresa Park with my husband, two adult children and one teenaged child.
