Profile - East Ward - Cr Cassandra Twarloh

I have lived in the area my whole life and I love the culture and rural atmosphere associated with the Wollondilly. This being my first term on Council, I am looking forward to representing East Ward and providing a woman’s voice in Council to represent all residents. I feel Council should be focused on providing the best for its residents and continue providing quality service.

I currently work in retail and I live in Picton with my fiancé’ Jason Vernon. I attended St Anthony’s Primary School and my high school years were spent at St Patrick’s College in Campbelltown.

I am excited about the next 4 years and the challenges which will arise. I aim to give the youth a voice in Wollondilly and I want to see more jobs in our area to stop the majority of people having to travel for work. I would like to see more funding for community, aged and youth services in East Ward. I would also like to push for the residents of East Ward being offered the optional connection to a sewerage system.

My main aim is to see the Wollondilly Shire stay rural and protect our shires boundaries and I look forward to working with the residents to achieve these aims.
