Wollondilly Shire Council seeks to be a dynamic and influential force within the community it serves and looks towards its staff to fulfil that vision. We have chosen to take the path of a progressive organisation leaving behind what we were and pro-actively moving towards what we can be.

Council is supportive of developing its services, building rapport with the community and operating on solid business foundations. Good forward planning and regular performance analyses form part of this approach. Wollondilly aims to be a corporation respected by its peers in Local Government for its quality of services, effective management and promotion of life styles in this area.

To this end we are building a team of progressive, visionary and innovative leaders who will support the corporate view and develop strong and functional teams. To meet the current and future challenges of our industry, we are mustering people skills and innovation, and developing our information technology. We firmly believe that a learning organisation is a growing one. People who support this vision and direction will be welcome to join our team.

The lifestyle of the Wollondilly region is becoming more and more popular with many people wanting to relocate here - either to work or to commute. For further information please phone Council's Employee Relations Officer on 02 4677 1154.
