The Minerals, Energy Resources, Environment and Waste Community Advisory Committee brings together community members with an interest in waste management and environmental issues including the extraction of minerals and petroleum (coal seam gas) within the Wollondilly Shire.

This Community Advisory Committee also advises and assists in the implementation of environment and waste management programs as well as Council activities which express the concerns of the local community regarding mining and coal seam gas issues.

 The Minerals, Energy Resources, Environment and Waste Advisory Committee meet quarterly.

 

The Minerals, Energy Resources, Environment and Waste Advisory Committee is currently seeking new members through an Expression of Interest (EOI) Process. If you are interested in participating please read the Minerals, Energy Resources, Environment and Waste Advisory Committee Operational Guidelines and Terms, then complete the Online EOI Committees form

The EOI runs from Monday 23 January – 4pm, Friday 17 February 2017.
