What are Council's own forecasts for specific areas of the Shire?

The Picton Tahmoor Thirlmere Urban Masterplan projects approximately 1,392 additional lots (assuming 700m2 lots in the identified 7 urban precincts) and up to a maximum of 1,049 additional lots (assuming all areas are developed to 4,000m2 lots for the areas identified in the PTT Rural Living Strategy.

Future development at Wilton (Draft Wollondilly LEP Amendment 56) envisages an additional 1,160 residential lots, and north Appin (Draft Wollondilly LEP Amendment 59) proposes a further 400 lots. The rezoning process for these two areas has not yet been finalised and the numbers of lots produced will depend upon completion of relevant Development Control Plans (DCPs) and Council's determination of the associted development applications.
