FAQs
My son/daughter has been given a school assignment. What sort of information can Council provide?Council staff are able to assist in a variety of ways, although we encourage independent research in places like the Picton Library or on the internet. Please ring to check what information may be available with regard to when the assignment is due and the workload or availability of staff to provide information. Teachers who are setting assessments for a class are encouraged to contact Council's officers first, particularly if it will result in numerous enquiries from students (or their parents) who are seeking out the same information. It is also advisable to ring to make an appointment to view materials that Council may have available for perusal in the customer service area or be able to make available for reference in the Picton Library.
