The Dilly Wanderer - Stress Less - Sign Up, Link in, Get Involved

Last modified: September 21, 2009 - 4:14 PM

On Wednesday the 7 October for Stress Less Day, The Dilly Wanderer will be hosting a Rock and Water sampler session for children. This event will be held at the Warragamba Town Hall, starting at 10am – all welcome!

The Rock and Water sampler will provide physical activities with a social outcome for children. Development of self-realisation, self-confidence, self-respect, boundary awareness, self-awareness and intuition are all goals which will be worked towards with a fun filled, action packed morning.

Stress Less Day is a day to say “no” to stress. Bring a morning tea and indulge in some stress-free activities with family, friends and colleagues and try to ensure that these habits become part of your daily routine.

Mental health issues will affect 1 in 5 Australians some time in the next 12 months. National Mental Health Week, 4 to 10 October 2009, aims to support the social and emotional wellbeing of Australians by encouraging everyone to maximise their health potential. The theme for Mental Health Week 2009 in NSW is ‘Sign up, Link in, Get involved.’ The focus is on promoting the connection between mental wellbeing and getting involved in our local communities, clubs, organisations and services.
