Draft Amendments to Wollondilly Development Control Plan 2016 (WDCP) – 15 Fairleys Road Picton (Abbotsford Road Planning Proposal Site)

Council invites your comments on draft amendments to Wollondilly Development Control Plan 2016 (WDCP). The draft amendment involves inclusion of site based development controls for land at No. 15 Fairleys Road, Picton in Volume 3-Subdivision of land and Volume 4-Residential Development of WDCP to guide any future development. The amendments are required in response to a recent planning proposal to rezone land to enable the development of the land for environmental living purposes.
The draft amendments will be on exhibition from Wednesday 28 November 28 2018 until Wednesday 30 January 2019. Information relating to the draft amendments can be viewed:
• Council’s Customer Service Centre, 62-64 Menangle Street, Picton between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday;
• Wollondilly Council Library, No. 42 Menangle Street, Picton between the hours of 9:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm Thursday and 9:00am to 12:00pm Saturday.
Any person may make a written submission or comment. These will be considered by Council in making a decision about the proposed controls and must be received by 5:00pm on 30 January 2019.

Any submission you make is open to public scrutiny. Council is required to release written comments or submissions under the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009 (GIPAA). The Act imposes obligations on use to place submissions on Council’s website and submissions may be used in Council Reports or court proceedings. In this regard, your comments should be restricted to the proposed development.
