Draft Planning Proposal - 65-95 Ironbark Road Bargo

Council has received and is considering a Draft Planning Proposal which relates to land at No. 65-95 Ironbark Road, Bargo. The intent of the Planning Proposal is to amend the land use zone from RU4 Primary Production Small Lots to a mix of R2 Low Density and Medium Density Residential development, amend the minimum lot size across the site from 2ha to a mix of 700 square metres and 975 square metres and impose a maximum building height of 9 metres across the entire site.
The exhibition documents consist of the Planning Proposal that details proposed amendments and which also address relevant strategies, policies and directions.
These documents will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 24 January, 2018 to Wednesday 21 February, 2018 and can be viewed during the exhibition period at:
(i) Council’s website www.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au and search for advertisements;
(ii) Council’s Administration Centre, 62-64 Menangle Street, Picton between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (public holidays excluded);
(iii) Wollondilly Council Shire Library, No. 42 Menangle Street, Picton NSW 2571 between the hours of 9:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm Thursday and 9:00am to 12:00pm Saturday.
You can comment on the Draft Planning Proposal by making a written submission. Written submissions must be addressed to the General Manager and may submitted by one of the following:

Submissions close at 5pm on Wednesday 21 February, 2018 and should quote Council’s reference number TRIM 10276.
Any submission you make is open to public scrutiny. Council is required to release written comments or submissions under the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009 (GIPAA). The Act imposes obligations on us to place submissions on Council’s website and submissions may be used in Council Reports or court proceedings. In this regard, your comments should be restricted to the proposed development.
