Draft Gas Scare Gun Policy
Closes: 11/08/2021 5:00pm
A Gas Scare Guns Operation Policy was initially adopted by Council in February 2001. The current Policy was last adopted on 18 March 2013.
The purpose of the Policy is to define operational guidelines for the use of gas scare guns within Wollondilly Shire to protect the amenity of rural areas, and to reduce potential environmental impacts. At the 18 May 2021 Council Meeting, it was recommended that Council endorse the revised draft Gas Scare Gun Policy for public exhibition and note that, following the consideration of any submissions, a further report will be presented to Council for the adoption of the finalised document.
