Notification - Planning Agreement - Bingara Gorge No.2

At its 16 March 2021 Meeting, Wollondilly Shire Council resolved to publicly exhibit a Draft Planning VPA. This does not implicitly or explicitly indicate that Council supports the VPA.
The VPA, named Bingara Gorge No. 2 Planning Agreement, is a separate Deed to an existing Bingara Gorge VPA executed on 3 November 2007. This Planning Agreement (Bingara Gorge No. 2) concerns the additional 635 lots granted by the Land & Environment Court on 30 August 2016, taking the total lot number residential lots at Bingara Gorge to 1,800.
The Draft Planning Agreement has been prepared under Section 7.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The Draft Planning Agreement provides for the following:
- Monetary Contributions towards:
- Restoration of the Bingara Gorge Homestead
- Monetary Contributions for the Wilton Growth Area towards:
- Roadways
- Share Ways
- Sports Fields
- Community Liaison Officer
- Community Facilities
- Dedication of Land for:
- Roads
- Bingara Gorge Homestead
- Provision of Works for:
- Roads; including New Oval Road, and widening of part of Fairways Drive
- Local Open Space; including Dog Park and Skate Park
- Maintenance Provisions
An Explanatory Note has also been prepared in accordance with the Act to facilitate better understanding of the Draft Planning Agreement.
The Draft Planning Agreement and Explanatory Note will be on public notification from 24 March 2021 to 23 April 2021.
