Notice is hereby given that Wollondilly Shire Council, in pursuance of Clause 7 of the above regulation proposes to name the following road/s:

Along the Menangle Road between the bridge at Menangle and Picton Road, ten grants had been issued in the 1820’s. Clifton was granted to Thomas Cowper 500 acres. |
Clemont Street |
Along the Menangle Road - Early Homestead name. |
Melrose Street |
Along the Menangle Road between the bridge at Menangle and Picton Road, ten grants had been issued in the 1820’s. Melrose was granted to William Macarthur 1150 acres. |
Belmont Street |
Along the Menangle Road between the bridge at Menangle and Picton Road, ten grants had been issued in the 1820’s. Situated on the southern side of the Nepean River, Belmont is the first grant along the Menangle road. 2000 acres granted to Walter Davidson. |
Roslyn Lane |
Along the Menangle Road between the bridge at Menangle and Picton Road, ten grants had been issued in the 1820’s. Roslyn was Granted to James Macarthur 1150 acres. |

Submissions in respect to the proposed name must be in writing to, Wollondilly Shire Council, PO Box 21, Picton NSW 2571 or email council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au clearly outlining reasons for such objection*. (quote reference CM1458-2)
Submissions for the proposal close 5:00pm, Friday 6 October 2023.
