The application is Nominated Integrated Development under Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979. Approval for the proposed development is required from Subsidence Advisory NSW under Clause 22 of the Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017, Heritage Council of NSW under Section 90 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, Natural Resource Access Regulator under Section 91 of the Water Management Act 2000 and the NSW Rural Fire Service under No 65 of Section 100B of the Rural Fires Act 1997.

Council’s Community Participation Plan outlines Council’s guidelines for notifying applications that are received. The development is on notification from 16 September 2020 to 15 October 2020.

Any submission you make is open to public scrutiny.  Council is required to release written comments or submissions under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPAA).  The Act imposes obligations on us to place submissions on Council’s website and submissions may be used in Council reports or court proceedings.  In this regard, your comments should be restricted to the proposed development.
