Wollondilly Council has joined forces with Blue Mountains Council to oppose the raising of the Warragamba Dam Wall, to protect valuable indigenous sites as well as the natural environment, plant and animal species that will be impacted by the proposed wall raising. Once we have damaged this heritage it can’t be replaced!
The Mayors of Wollondilly and blue Mountains will be hosting a community forum in Springwood on 10 November from 9.30am. Here is some information about why we are opposing the raising of the dam wall by a possible 14 metres.
