Council has recently decommissioned a Mitsubishi Rosa 21-seater vehicle that is now looking for a new home.
If your community group is interested in owning this vehicle, we would love to hear from you!
Council will be gifting the vehicle to the successful group through a competitive EOI process.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give a well-loved vehicle a new lease on life while also benefiting your local community. Apply now by submitting an expression of interest!
Expressions of interest close Tuesday 2 May 2023 at 5.00PM.
Download the form for further details including vehicle description, summary of EOI requirements and conditions of supply.
Council is reviewing the Community Bus model of service.
Council will be continuing to provide Wollondilly based community groups, reimbursement up to the increased value of $500 (inclusive of GST) per day to cover the cost of bus hire from an external provider during the review process.
As an interim measure, while Council is undertaking the review of its Community Bus Model of Service, Wollondilly based community groups can request a reimbursement up to the increased value of $500 (inclusive of GST) per day to cover the cost of bus hire.
Council will reimburse community groups that use an identified not for profit community transport provider. Suggestions of suitable providers are listed on the downloadable form. It is the community group’s responsibility to contact, hire and pay for the bus hire following which a request for reimbursement may be submitted.
Council would like to hear from you if you require any support in accessing this reimbursement scheme.
The completed form should be submitted after each trip for reimbursement. Council will only be able to process the reimbursement after the submission of a completed form, which must include a paid tax invoice. This invoice must include the hiring business name and ABN of the provider. Any costs over $500 will need to be absorbed by the community group and will not covered by Councils Community Bus Hire Reimbursement Scheme.
If your community group requires assistance with deposits, booking fees or arranging payments please contact Council’s Community Project Team on (02) 4677 1100.
