Film Description (please give an outline of your film in 50 words or less. This may be used in the official program and in media releases). If you have a preferred still for promotional use, please email the image file with your submission.
Get ready to submit your film! You can submit your film to us via Dropbox or YouTube. Files should be less than 10GB. (We recommend exporting files as H.264, Mp4 1080p). Make sure you make your video private and attached the link and password to your film below.

Judging
The winners will be selected by a judging panel. Judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Judging criteria:
Licences
Each short film producer grants non-exclusive and irrevocable licences:
a) To Wollondilly Shire Council to screen their short film on the Wollondilly Shire Library YouTube Channel, Wollondilly Shire Council’s Facebook, Wollondilly Library Facebook and The Dilly YAC Facebook and at Youth Week 2022 short film screening.
Copyright
Entrants will utilise non-copyrighted materials in the production of their short film. This includes sound recordings, printed media, short films, music and sound effects as well as scripts. The organisers take no responsibility for breach of copyright or moral rights in the films screened. Copyright and/or moral rights breaches will disqualify entries.
Rating
Short film content is to contain no stunts of a dangerous nature or positive reference to drug or alcohol use, foul language, violence or pornography.
Organisers’ rights
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entries for breach of conditions.
Permissions
By submitting your film via the online entry form entrants agree that they have obtained all the necessary permissions in writing from all cast and crew involved with their production. Permission forms are available on Wollondilly Shire Council’s website.
By submitting your film to Wollondilly Shire Council you give permission for Wollondilly Shire Council to use the film for public screening, promotions and on Wollondilly Councils social media pages and website.
Legal protection
Entrants agree that the Wollondilly Shire Council including its servants and agents are not responsible for any action, suit, claim, demand or proceeding they may otherwise have against any of them arising out of or in connection with entrant’s participation in the competition including but not limited to any action, suit, claim, demand or proceeding concerning infringement by any person of any intellectual property rights (including moral rights).
Key Dates
To be considered for judging all entries must be uploaded to YouTube or Dropbox and link must be attached to entry form by Monday 4 April 2022 at 5pm.
Winners announced: Thursday 14 April from 6pm to 8pm at Youth Week 2022 Short Film Screening and Pizza Night, Wollondilly Library Picton Branch, 42 Menangle St, Picton NSW 2571
Prizes
There will be a $100 eftpos card per winner, there will be 3 winners.
Forms and Releases
The online entry form must be completed and submitted along with the film uploaded by the closing date.
By entering the Wollondilly Shire Youth Week Short Film Competition the entrant has read, understands and agrees to all entry guideline requirements, terms and conditions.
