Do you ever dream of a more sustainable and greener lifestyle? Now is your chance, with this upcoming workshop at the Wollondilly Community Nursery. Come along and join like-minded people to learn how to best set up and maintain a compost bin and worm farm.  Worm farms are a great way to process left over vegetable scraps instead of throwing them away. The worm wee that is a by-product of the farms is great for using on young seedlings and pot plants, when diluted down.

Compost bins and tumblers take organics matter and vegetable scraps, combining wet and dry ingredients, turning it into a rich soil like humus for garden beds. Learn the basic principles of composting and do some troubleshooting for common issues.

Everyone who attends will receive a free compost tumbler or worm farm (depending on availability).
