Facilitator Nicole Curby is an audio producer and oral historian. She has produced documentary features for ABC RN's Earshot, Deutsche Welle's World Link and The Monthly. In 2018, Nicole was a finalist in the United Nations Day Media Awards.
Recently, Nicole spent two years in Indonesia, where she produced the weekly current affairs podcast, Asia Calling. She has also made branded audio content for Whooshkaa and Nova Entertainment.
As an oral historian, Nicole has recorded oral history interviews for the National Library of Australia collection and a wide range of community projects; she has contributed to museum exhibitions, books and documentaries. Her written work has been published in The Saturday Paper, ABC Online and Overland literary journal.
