About the 2020 Election in Wollondilly

New Ward Boundaries

2020 has seen new ward boundaries for Wollondilly established meaning three ward boundaries will become two. The two boundaries are named North and East. This change was made as a result of a referendum held at the Local Government elections in 2016. This will affect your voting preferences in this years election.

Popularly Elected Mayor Vote

2020 will see the introduction of Popularly Elected Mayor Vote. This means 4 Councillors in each of the 2 wards will be elected and voters will elect a Popularly Elected Mayor making a total of 9 Councillors for Wollondilly. The Mayor will be elected for a four year term.
