A Very Muddy Christmas

Posted on: 13.12.2015

Wollondilly Shire Council and SOL (Share Organise Learn) Mud Fun would like to invite you to our family friendly, FREE, Christmas Party at the Wollondilly Community Nursery on Tuesday 22 December from 4pm to 8pm.

There will be mud stomping, mud brick making and we will start building this year’s Mud Fun project for the community, an outdoor performance and presentation space. In past years we have made a cob oven and outdoor kitchen, which will be used on the day to provide you with all the yummy goodies for the Christmas party. We will also have a range of refreshments to keep our stompers stomping.

As well as our festive earthen masonry, live entertainment will be provided and encouraged on the night. Mud Fun would like to invite you to bring your own instruments or talented self on the night to share music and poetry with the community and to get the stompers moving! If you’re interested in helping with food and refreshments, there’s always room for Santa’s little (and big) helpers!

On the night you can learn the recipe for making mud bricks, learn how to build with mud bricks and how to jam on African drums! It will be an amazing experience and great opportunity to be a part of a community working with each other to build a structure we can all use. We hope to see you all there and have yourself a very Muddy Christmas.
