Blaxland Crossing Bridge Repair Works Community Information Session
Posted on: 13.09.2017
A contract has been formed with the successful tenderer for the Blaxland Crossing Bridge Repair Works, Complex Civil Pty Ltd and a Community Information Session has been scheduled. Designed to be an informal drop-in session, interested residents can speak to Council’s project team, engineers and the contractors as an opportunity to ask questions about timeframes, load/speed limits and other matters concerning the bridge project.
Judith Hannan, Mayor for Wollondilly, said, “A start date for construction has not yet been set; however, Council and its contractors are working hard behind the scenes on the first of the three part process to undertake repair works. Part 1 is the preparation works, detail design and third party approvals. Once these are complete, Part 2 will be off-site fabrication followed by Part 3, on-site construction works.”
“The Community Information Session is a good opportunity for residents to speak to Council and ask questions and I encourage those of you who drive on this bridge often to take the time to attend.”
When: Thursday 21 September
Where: Warragamba Town Hall
Times: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
