Chemical CleanOut Wrap Up
Posted on: 02.05.2019
The NSW EPA has reported that the total amount of material collected at the recent Chemical CleanOut in the Council Car Park in Picton came to 37,392 kg, with over 600 residents taking part. The most common items handed over were paints, oils, gas cylinders and lead acid batteries.
Due to the high volume of community participation this year, Council has requested extra personnel and resources to be available for next year’s event. This will provide better customer service and reduce wait times.
