Community input sought for Old School Site at Menangle
Posted on: 24.08.2018
The old Menangle School site is rich in local history and an important asset to the Menangle community.
Wollondilly Shire Council is in the process of planning for the future of the site and is seeking ideas from the community on what they would like to see happen at this historically significant location.
Council’s Manager, Infrastructure Strategy and Planning Mike Nelson said, “Council will use the feedback it receives to create a plan for the space, to guide any future works or improvements to the area and make sure it us somewhere the whole community can enjoy and be proud of.”
If you would like to have your say, you can call Council on 4677 1100 or login to Council’s Engage website to post your ideas on the interactive map or add your comments http://www.engage.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au/projects/e/old-menangle-school-site-180907
Council staff will be at the old school site from 10am until 1pm on Saturday 25 August for those who would like to chat in person.
For more information about the plans for the site, interested community members can contact Council's Facilities and Recreation Planner on 4677 1100 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Council will be accepting comments until 7 September 2018.
