With Spring just around the corner, it’s time for the green thumbs of Wollondilly to put on their gloves and get ready for the 2018 Wollondilly Garden Competition.
The annual Garden Competition is a very popular event on Council’s calendar, bringing together like-minded community members with similar interests.
Mayor Judith Hannan said, “This is a great way for our local gardeners to showcase their hard work, as well as the latest gardening techniques and sustainability ideas.”
“We have some extremely talented gardeners in our Shire. This year they have faced particular challenges due to the drought, so I look forward to seeing the creative ways they have adapted to the current conditions,” she said.
Entries are open from now until 4pm on Friday 21 September. The 2018 Garden Competition Entry Form is available on Council’s website or from Council’s Administration Building.
