Posted on: 02.09.2019

Wollondilly Council is encouraging residents to provide feedback on the draft Development Control Plan for growth in Wilton as part of the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s (DPIE) community consultation process.

The Department is currently seeking comment on the first exhibited draft of the Wilton Development Control Plan, which is on exhibition until 18 September 2019.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the plan at a joint kiosk hosted by Council representatives and DPIE staff on 14 September from 9am-12pm at the Bingara Gorge IGA.

Wollondilly Council’s Director Planning, Toni Averay said, “The draft Development Control Plan provides planning standards and controls to guide new development at Wilton.”

“We want everyone to have the opportunity to have their say about how they would like the development of this important growth area to proceed.”

For those who can’t make it to the community kiosk, feedback can also be provided by calling the DPIE on 1300 305 695 or by visiting the ‘Have your Say’ page
