Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers
Posted on: 07.03.2016
Wollondilly Shire Council works in partnership with the Roads & Maritime Service to provide events that help our learner drivers and their supervisors become safer drivers on our roads.
Council is holding a workshop specifically for parents/supervisors of learner drivers to assist with making for a happy experience whilst teaching someone to drive.
The 2 hour workshop will provide information to help you and your learner with practical advice about:
- Current laws for L & P licence holders
- Supervising learner drivers
- Completing the Learner Driver Log Book
- Benefits of supervised on-road driving experience
- Low risk driving
- Teaching someone to drive can be a happy experience.
It is facilitated by Council’s Road Safety Officer and in attendance will also be a professional driving instructor.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 9 March 2016 at 6.30pm at the Council Administration Building, 62-64 Menangle Street, Picton.
