Industrial Lands Survey
Posted on: 12.05.2017
Wollondilly Shire Council is undertaking an audit of industrial zoned land in the Shire to determine whether there is an adequate supply to satisfy future demand from business. Industrial land provides for a large range of business types including manufacturing, transport services, wholesaling, local service industries, recreational and community organisations. These sectors of industry also provide significant employment opportunities.
The Shire is experiencing major residential growth in its towns and villages and more industrial land may be required to provide for businesses servicing the needs of new residents. Feedback is being sought from businesses to assist Council in this strategic planning process to ensure that adequate land is provided in the right locations.
A business survey is available on Council’s website www.engage.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au until 31 May 2017. Businesses operating on industrial zoned land and those seeking to operate a business in an industrial area are invited to fill out the survey.
