It’s time to kick up your heels, pull on your jeans, get ready to watch a roping show and take a ride on a mechanical bull. Wollondilly Shire Council is inviting residents to take part in Wollondilly’s Mayoral Charity Hoedown to be held at K Ranch Arena in Mount Hunter on Friday 2 June 2017 supporting the Touched by Olivia Foundation. You will be able to purchase a ticket which will include a Texan Low & Slow barbecue dinner and drinks, auctions and prizes as well as a night of fantastic country & western themed entertainment.

The Event will directly support the construction of an all-inclusive playspace in Warragamba. Many children and their families have benefitted from access to inclusive play spaces through the work that the foundation does, and the Warragamba space will bring that to the Wollondilly Shire.

Mayor, Judith Hannan said: “This is a great opportunity to get a group of friends and family together and help raise money that will go towards the Touched by Olivia foundation.”

“Through this project we will establish a quality regional inclusive play space in Warragamba that caters for children of all abilities, promoting social inclusion and encouraging physical activity for improved community wellbeing.”

Tickets are $99 each or table of 10 for $900. For more information on this upcoming event or corporate packages, ticket purchasing and sponsorship opportunities, contact Council’s Events Officer on 4677 1100 or events@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au
