On Saturday 28 July, Wollondilly Mayor Judith Hannan will host a charity event to raise funds for the Wollondilly Prostate Cancer Support Group and the Warragamba ANZAC Community Fund.
The event will start with a Scavenger Hunt around the Wollondilly Shire, followed by a Charity Dinner at the Warragamba Town Hall.
The Scavenger Hunt will kick off at 2pm for teams of 2-4 people.
Mayor Judith Hannan said, “I encourage you to get your team together soon, so you can be part of the fun racing around Wollondilly; solving clues, completing challenges and gathering evidence of your journey.”
“Tickets for the Scavenger Hunt are $50, with a $500 cash prize for first place,” she said.
The Charity Dinner will commence at 6pm with the theme and dress code being ‘Be True Blue for Prostate Cancer’.
The Chef and I Catering will be serving up a delicious three course meal with two drink vouchers included per person.
Mayor Hannan said, “The Swinging Old Fellas will be playing everyone’s favourite hits to dance to on the night and there will be plenty of raffles, auctions and prizes as well.”
Some of the prizes to be won or auctioned off include an overnight stay at Kangaroo Valley Resort & Spa in a deluxe villa with a Game of Golf and Carts, a Wedding Photography Package, tickets to Channel 9’s Footy Show, an ultimate paintball prize pack for 10 people, a 1/18 scale model Valvoline Race Car, EFTPOS gift cards and more.
Tickets to the Mayoral Dinner are $99 per person or $900 for a table of 10.
