NDIS Information Session

Posted on: 07.07.2016

With the commencement of the NDIS on 1 July, Wollondilly Shire Council invites residents to attend a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Information Session in the Wollondilly Shire Council Gallery. Guest speakers will share their experiences on how they and their clients are adjusting to the NDIS.

 When: Tuesday 9 August 2016

Where: Wollondilly Shire Council Gallery

Time: 10am to 12pm

The session will cover topics such as:

  • What is the NDIS and how does it work?
  • Am I eligible for the NDIS?
  • What will happen if I am made eligible?
  • What kind of support can I access through the NDIS?

This forum will be aimed at people with a disability, as well as their families and carers. The information session is also a perfect opportunity to bring along your questions and have them answered by experienced NDIA staff members.

RSVP to NSWcentralengagement@ndis.gov.au or call (02) 4726 4555 by 2 August 2016. Please advise the names of those attending, contact phone number and any support requirements. Friends, family members and carers are welcome. Light refreshments will be available.
