Installation of Guardrails at Broughton Pass will begin Monday 17 July
Posted on: 17.07.2017
Wollondilly Shire Council would like to advise that the installation of guardrails on the recently re-opened Broughton Pass will commence on Monday 17 July.
The installation will take up to three weeks and will be scheduled between the hours of 7am to 5pm.
Council will aim to minimise the disruption to traffic and will keep the bridge open, with traffic control, while works take place.
Traffic control is required to ensure safety of motorists and workers. Some delays of up to 15 minutes are expected which will be scheduled to avoid peak commute times.
These works are an important step in completing the repair works resulting from the significant weather event in June 2016. Council thanks the community for their cooperation during this time.
