Pan Civil to begin repair works on Broughton Pass

Posted on: 06.03.2017

Pan Civil (contractor for Broughton Pass repair work) have confirmed that they will be on site at Broughton Pass from Monday 6th March. With investigation works now complete, the detailed design phase is underway and the construction phase is scheduled to begin on 6 March 2017.

This means that Broughton Pass will be closed to all pedestrians until the repair work is complete. We apologise for any further inconvenience this will cause residents, however our primary concern must be the safety of the community.  Allowing pedestrian access poses too many risks, and the potential for the project to be delayed further if an incident were to occur.

Access for Water NSW will be maintained by Pan Civil from the Wilton side as required under the contract; however the area between the gates will become a construction site as equipment, plant and materials will be stored at various locations.

For further information on Broughton Pass visit the Broughton Pass Section on Council’s website or attend our information session on site  on Sunday 5 March to speak with Council Staff and the contractors (Pan Civil) .
