Pathways to Partnership Forum
Posted on: 16.05.2018
The Macarthur Youth Services Network (MYSN) is pleased to announce that the Pathways to Partnership Forum will be running on Friday 8 June 2018, hosted by Picton High School.
The forum will focus on connecting students, teachers, parents and carers in the Wollondilly area with a range of youth and support services. This year the theme of the forum will be legal issues and services.
Panel discussions will take place with providers such as Macarthur Legal Centre, Legal Aid and other youth-focussed organisations in the area. Attendees will also have the opportunity to chat with the service providers at their information tables.
Council’s Community Projects and Events Team Leader, Rob Moran said, “I would encourage young people and anyone who is involved with young people to come along and take the opportunity to learn from experts, without having to travel outside of the Shire.”
The MYSN is a network of government agencies, non-government community groups and organisations that work with young people aged 12 to 25 years across the three local government areas of Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly.
The network provides an opportunity for youth services to connect, exchange information and ideas, to work collaboratively on projects and to identify issues of concern for young people from Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly.
This is a free event for students, teachers and parents/carers.
Date: Friday 8 June
Place: Picton High School, 480 Argyle Street, Picton
Afternoon tea will be provided.
