Proposal to re-establish the Alcohol Free Zones

Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking feedback on the proposal to re-establish the Alcohol Free Zones across Wollondilly Shire. Council is exhibiting a proposal to re-establish the Alcohol Free Zones across Wollondilly for a period of four (4) years from 2017 - 2021.
It is proposed that Alcohol Free Zones will be established in the following towns/villages within Wollondilly Shire:

  • Appin
  • Bargo
  • Douglas Park
  • Oakdale
  • Picton
  • Tahmoor
  • The Oaks
  • Thirlmere
  • Warragamba

The proposal includes a full listing of locations and maps of the Alcohol Free Zones in Wollondilly.
Public Exhibition
The proposal will be on public exhibition for 28 days from Wednesday 28 June 2017 to Tuesday 25 July 2017 and can be viewed during the exhibition period at:

  • Council Administration Building, 62-64 Menangle Street, Picton between the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Wollondilly Shire Library, 42 Menangle Street, Picton. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am to 5pm, Thursday 9:30am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 12 noon
  • Council’s Community Engagement Portal www.engage.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au
