Summer Beach Bus is on the Road
Posted on: 02.01.2019
Looking for something to do during the holidays?
The Wollondilly Summer Beach Bus will be running again in January 2019, providing a hop on, hop off bus service from the bush to the beach.
You can jump on board the Summer Beach Bus and head to North Wollongong Beach every Friday in January.
Thanks to the generous financial support of Simec Mining, Wollondilly Shire Council has organised this service FREE for residents of the Wollondilly Shire.
The Beach Bus is for residents of all ages and will pick up at 9 locations from Warragamba to Tahmoor to Wilton to Wollongong and return. There’s sure to be a bus pick up at a site near you, so check out the timetable.
Opal Cards for Appin beach goers to catch the regular bus to North Wollongong will be available from the Appin Pharmacy.
Please note that the Summer Beach Bus is an unsupervised bus service. There will be no adult supervision on the bus or at the beach and no responsibility will be taken for people who miss their scheduled departure time.
