Warragamba Recreation Reserve “Boomerang” Shelter

Posted on: 22.09.2016

Wollondilly Shire Council is proposing to close off the enclosed BBQ area located in the rear of the “Boomerang” shelter due to ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour and vandalism resulting in public health concerns.

 This proposal involves:

  • Bricking up two (2) entrances to the enclosed BBQ area: the internal entrance and the right hand rear entranceway;
  • Installing a lockable door behind existing steel gate at the left hand rear entranceway;
  • Removing one (1) table setting and installing a corner stainless steel bench with sink and hot water dispenser to service the front seating area of the shelter.
