Council enabled the online lodgement of development applications through the NSW Planning Portal on 1 June 2020.
This lodgement portal is provided by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and will soon be used by all Councils in NSW. To ensure we continue to provide an efficient service, Council will require that all development applications be lodged through the Planning Portal from 1 July 2020. Council will no longer accept applications lodged in person, by email or by post.
The NSW Planning Portal allows for a more convenient and environmentally friendly process for the lodgement of applications, allowing applicants to lodge online — anywhere, anytime.
The following Applications and Certificates can be lodged through the Portal:
- Development Application
- Section 4.55 Modification Application
- Complying Development Certificates
- Construction Certificates
- Occupation Certificates
- Subdivision Certificates
This is an exciting time for Wollondilly as we continue to offer an outstanding service to our customers and work to provide planning and building certificate solutions to build an even better Wollondilly.
State environmental planning policies (SEPPs) deal with issues significant to the state and people of New South Wales.
State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Codes) 2008 specifies exempt development (development that does not require approval) under that policy.
