Supporting the Community & Local Businesses

Council is doing everything we can to support our community and local businesses during this time.

Council's Hardship Policy

Council recognises that there are cases of genuine financial hardship that may cause ratepayers to have difficulty paying their rates and charges or other sundry debts. The Local Government Act 1993 and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 allows Council to provide a range of assistance to ratepayers experiencing genuine financial hardship. For further information about Council’s Hardship Policy, contact Council on 4677 1100.

Supporting Local Businesses

The COVID-19 outbreak is impacting businesses globally in many ways including reduced trade, temporary business closures, staffing issues, and supply chain interruptions.

The NSW Small Business Commissioner has provided information to assist Small Business with tips and resources to help you manage your small business during the crisis and into the recovery phase.

If you are a business impacted by COVID-19 you can also visit the Australian Taxation Office or call 1800 806 218 for further information.

COVID Safe Businesses

Details and templates for Covid-19 Safety plans can be found on Service NSW website.
