Development Application Process

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, Council has adapted our business processes to keep our staff and the community safe while ensuring the least disruption to development approval processes during these difficult times.

 

To facilitate an uninterrupted DA service, all development applications and associated applications, will no longer be accepted in hard copy or over the front counter from Tuesday, 24 March 2020. All applications will need to be lodged via email at council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au with PDF attachments (note there is a 25mb size limit this way) or via a cloud link (either your own or contact Council and we will provide a new cloud link for each application). Should either of these options not be possible for any reason, you will need to contact Council on 4677 1100 to make alternative arrangements.

 

In receiving applications electronically, fee payment methods will also change. After an application is received electronically, it will be checked to ensure all relevant documentation has been received. If the application is complete, a fee quote will be forwarded to you with Council’s banking details for direct deposit (EFT) to Council’s bank account. Your deposit will need to include the reference number provided by Council and the address of the property where the development is proposed. Alternatively, you can lodge a completed credit card authorisation form to pay via credit card. Upon receipt of the payment, your application will be processed normally and can be tracked online using our DA Tracker.
