Towns of Wollondilly

The administrative centre of the Wollondilly Shire, Picton is located only 90 minutes south of Sydney and 40 minutes west of Wollongong. The town was originally called Stonequarry but was later renamed after the British general, Sir Thomas Picton (1758-1815) in 1845.
