Wollondilly Council is seeking road name suggestions from residents, community groups and schools for the many new roads which are appearing around the Shire.
Section 138 of the Roads Act (NSW) requires that all work or activities undertaken within road reserves must have the Road Authorities consent prior to the work being undertaken.

The Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) requires that all classes of restricted access vehicles (RAV) may only be used on a public road if the operator has granted access through a notice or permit (mass or dimension authority) from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).

If you are planning to modify or construct a vehicle crossing or kerb layback from your property boundary to the kerb/gutter or road, you will need to obtain Council approval prior to starting any works.
While advertising signs are not permitted within the road reserve, Council may erect at the nearest intersection, a standard type sign supplied by Council indicating the particular activity. On receipt of an application, due consideration will be given to the request.
