It's important to dispose of batteries and chemicals in the correct manner in order to avoid environmental harm. See below for disposal locations.

Car Batteries

Car batteries can be disposed of for free at Bargo Waste Management Centre.

Household Batteries

At Council

Any brand AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries (both rechargeable and non-rechargeable) are accepted at Council's Administration Building, simply drop your used batteries (removing any packaging) into the dedicated bins and you're done!

ALDI offers battery recycling for household batteries (AAA, AA, C, D and 9V). Battery recycling bins are located in every ALDI store.

If the scheduled collection date does not suit, please visit the EPA NSW website or call the EPA Environment Line on 131 555 for another scheduled service location in NSW. Only household quantities are accepted, up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms container size. Please transport your materials carefully & remain in your vehicle at the collection site.
