Council has a number of facilities available for hire for personal, business or community use. General information about these facilities can be viewed through the links below. If you want to use a Council facility it is essential to book ahead.
Bookings will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the proposed booking date, however we recommend that you submit your booking as early as possible. Bookings cannot be accepted more than 12 months in advance.
Are required to submit their Season Hire booking two months prior to the required use of a sporting facility.
When planning to hold a community event it is important that your booking is submitted early and a minimum of two months prior to the proposed event date is recommended. Events requiring a Traffic Management Plan (Road Use / Closure) must be submitted a minimum of 12 weeks prior to the event. Booking the facility in advance ensures that Council can undertake any preparatory work. Those organising a community event must be aware of their obligations. Council Halls are now open to all hirers. All Hirers are required to be aware of the Public Health Orders at the time of hire, and ensure that they conduct their use of the facility in accordance with the applicable Orders.
There are 14 Sportsgrounds located in the beautiful Wollondilly Shire. All are available for hire for sporting and recreational activities.
There are 2,320,630 m2 (573 acres) of open space under the care and control of Wollondilly Shire Council. Of this, 1,319,640m2 are maintained by Council, including over 40 parks & reserves, 14 sportsgrounds and 34 playgrounds.
