When: Council will be carrying out civil construction in the St James public reserve in Menangle from Monday 31 May 2021.
Duration: This work is scheduled to commence on Monday 31 May 2021 and should be completed within 12 weeks, weather permitting.
Methodology: This project will be the construction a new concrete pathway, from Station Street, extending to Riversford close and to St. James Avenue. The project will include - demolition and removal of the existing footpath, excavation for new footpath, compacted sub-base to WSC specifications, retaining walls, installation of handrails and all other associated work.
Notification: All work will be undertaken during Council’s standard working hours (7am to 5pm – Monday to Friday & Saturday 8am to 1pm) to ensure safety, efficiency and minimal disruptions to surrounding residents.
