This will include resurfacing the road, installing shoulders, kerb and gutter, stormwater and footpath. North of the shops to Farnsworth Avenue will receive road resurfacing, shoulder widening and swale reworking.

A new construction zone will commence shortly to link the two currently active.
Wet weather has continued to cause delays. Additionally, many months of design resolution with Sydney Water will contribute to extending the completion date.
The wet weather is causing slower than anticipated works. The site has seen more kerb and gutter installed with road pavement to commence in coming weeks.
Wet weather through March and April has caused significant hindrance to the project. The good news is the rain has eased and momentum is gaining. The next few weeks will see a majority of stormwater pipes and pits installed. Road formation teams will be commencing next week with subgrade stabilisation and kerb and gutter in the shoulders currenting receiving stormwater infrastructure.
Given the record rainfall of the last few months, the contractor has been managing resources in a way that the competition date of October 2022 is still on track.
Works are progressing with a second work zone commencing. The first zone has had stormwater lines installed with the road shoulder now being prepared for pavement. The second work zone is commencing stormwater installations.
A very wet couple of weeks has hindered efforts. This may be a repeated story with the Bureau of Meteorology suggesting we will be receiving above average rainfall through summer and into autumn. The window of sunshine next week will allow a good run home in the lead up to Christmas with the stormwater pipes to be placed and continuation of road shoulder construction.
The contractor is completing utilities locating and survey next week.
Road works will be commencing 8 November 2021.
The road works will cause traffic delays. Please plan your trip accordingly and take care when driving through the construction site.
