Car Batteries
Car batteries can be disposed of for free at Bargo Waste Management Centre or annual Household Chemical Cleanout events.

Household Batteries
At Council
Any brand AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries (both rechargeable and non-rechargeable) are accepted at Council's Administration Building, simply drop your used batteries (removing any packaging) into the dedicated bins and you're done!

At ALDI
ALDI offers battery recycling for household batteries (AAA, AA, C, D and 9V). Battery recycling bins are located in every ALDI store.

Household Chemical Cleanout events are run by NSW EPA and hosted by Council's all around NSW. These events are a great way to dispose of common problem household wastes, free of charge.

If the scheduled collection date does not suit, please visit the EPA NSW website or call the EPA Environment Line on 131 555 for another scheduled service location in NSW. Only household quantities are accepted, up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms container size. Please transport your materials carefully & remain in your vehicle at the collection site.
