Ready for a clean-out? We’ve got you! With our bookable Council Clean-Up service, you can select a date that works for you. Each eligible residential property can receive two clean-ups of 1.5 m³ each per financial year. Alternatively, both clean-ups can be booked for the same date as one 3 m³ collection.
Before booking, please check which items are accepted to help ensure a smooth collection. To make a booking, continue to the online booking platform below or call Council via 4677 1100 and press option 1 for Waste and 2 for Council Clean-up.
There are three different clean-up categories to choose from when booking your Council Clean-up. Please check which items we do and don't collect before making your booking selection. If you are not sure if your items are accepted, please call and confirm to avoid disappointment during the collection process.

Items we don't collect:
Before booking, please be sure to check over the accepted and not accepted items and which categories best suit everything included in your collection.
When you enter your property details to make a booking, you will be able to see how many bookings are available for the current financial year under 'booking history'. Each eligible property receives two booked clean-up services per financial year. These reset on 1 July each year and are valid until 30 June the following year. Unused bookings do not roll over to the next year.
Bookings counts toward the financial year in which the collection takes place, not the year in which you made the booking. For example, if you make a booking before 30 June but the collection happens in August, it will count toward the new financial year.
Additional paid bookings will be available from 1 July 2026. Paid bookings cannot be made in advance for the next financial year.
You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your booked collection date without losing your booking. You can then re-book for another date.
To cancel your booking:
If you cannot find your booking confirmation or need help cancelling, please call (02) 4677 1100.
If your items are not out and ready on your booked collection day, the booking will still count as used. You’ll be notified that the items were not presented, could not be located, and could not be collected.
To arrange for your items to be collected, you can make another booking using any remaining bookings for that financial year
Sometimes only part of a clean-up can be collected. This may happen if:
If this happens, you will receive an unsuccessful collection notice by text message or email, and a notice may also be left at the property explaining the reason.
You will need to remove any remaining items from the kerb and return them to your property within 72 hours of your booking.
Most clean-up collections take place between 6am and 4pm.
If your pile has not been collected by 12pm on the next business day after your booked collection date and you have not received a notification, please contact Council on 02 4677 1100.
If you think someone has added extra items to your pile and it is now over the limit, please contact Council on 02 4677 1100.
If your collection has already taken place and some items were left behind, you will receive an unsuccessful collection notice by text message or email, and a notice may also be left at the property explaining why the full pile was not collected.
If this happens, please contact Council to discuss what to do with the remaining items.
Yes, as long as the property has a current domestic waste service (red, yellow, green bin service) it's eligible for Council Clean-up. The clean-up entitlement is attached to the property, not the person living there.
Requests like this are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Please contact Council via 02 4677 1100 or council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au to discuss your situation.
It depends on the type of property.
If you live in a strata managed complex, you may need to speak with your strata manager. In some cases, bookings may be arranged by the strata management committee. Each eligible property may still receive two free bookings.
If you live at a commercial premises, you may be able to access paid bookings.
If you live in a supervised clean-up area, please refer to the annual letter sent to you for instructions.
If you are unsure if you can make a booking for your property type contact Council via 02 4677 1100 or council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au.
Yes. If there is only one property title, the clean-up service is shared across the whole property.
It is the responsibility of the property occupants to develop an arrangement for how the clean-up service entitlement will be shared or used each financial year.
If you have received your Occupation Certificate (OC) and have already arranged a domestic waste service (red, yellow and green bins) your property will automatically be entitled to the Clean-Up service and your address will appear in the booking system.
Council is working with recycling and waste partners, as well as P24 partners (Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee Councils), to keep as much clean-up waste out of landfill as possible. This helps reduce pressure on landfills and lowers the impact on the environment.
URM Environmental Services Pty Limited will be the waste contractor providing the bookable clean up service from 1 June 2026.
Wollondilly Shire Council acknowledges the Dharawal and Gundungurra peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, honouring their enduring cultural and spiritual connection to Country and recognising their ongoing contribution to the Shire.
