The Project
The Picton Botanic Gardens All Abilities Playspace & Amenities project will include a toddler and children’s playspace with a unique play feature and a boardwalk link between the two, incorporating sensory elements and water play. The current amenities block will be replaced by a new amenities building.
During the construction phase there will be accessible portable toilets in place for the park users, however, there will be times that access will be limited so park users should plan their trip, especially if they have accessibility or mobility issues.
The car park off Regreme Road will also be closed during construction, however there are additional amenities and a children’s playground at nearby RSL Memorial Park, Picton.
This project is funded by the NSW and Federal governments through the Bushfire Local Economy Recovery Fund and the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program.
